ABOUT THE PROJECT:

House B is a house situated on a picturesque plot in the outskirts of Warsaw. The positioning of the building was to a great degree determined by the densely standing trees. The simple white form is to provide contrast for its natural environment. The walls are modified and bent so as to provide additional functional elements: a balcony, a bench, roofing over the entrance, and a dog kennel. Internal spaces are optically expanded through wooden and gravel terraces.

Plenty of glazing, skylights in the roof, and a two-storey-high empty space in the central part provide a sense of roominess of the house and its integration with nature.
