The production plant for electric motors by SOPEM, part of the French Somfy Group, is located in the Niepołomice Investment Zone. The complex includes an administrative and office building, a production hall, a warehouse, and a logistics center. The investment serves as a production, R&D, and logistics facility for the Somfy Group. The project was carried out in phases, with the final stage aiming to achieve an annual production capacity of 2,740,000 electric motors. Challenging ground conditions required the use of non-standard structural solutions. Despite its industrial function, the building was designed with a modern and elegant architectural form, in line with the standards of an international brand.
